Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com October 9 news, according to CCTV, Cui Dongshu, secretary general of the Federation of passengers, revealed in an interview that domestic sales of new energy vehicles remained strong in September.
According to the data, wholesale sales of new energy passenger cars reached about 660000 in September, up 95 per cent from a year earlier and 5 per cent from a month earlier. Retail sales of new energy passenger cars in China are expected to reach about 590000 in September. Among them, Tesla delivered more than 83000 vehicles, setting a new record for monthly delivery again. This has also been confirmed by the Shanghai Securities News.
Cui Dongshu said that the internal reason for the recent strong retail sales is the release of early consumption and policy promotion. In addition, the supply of new energy vehicles in the market has improved, and the superimposed oil price is still locked in high electricity prices, which has also led to an increase in electric vehicle orders.
CTOnews.com has reported that although Tesla never publishes monthly data, relevant institutions and analysts tend to give their own forecasts and statistics. Cui Dongshu revealed in an interview with the Securities Times on September 1 that according to comprehensive information, Tesla's August sales are expected to reach 77000.
Tesla sold 28217 vehicles wholesale and 8461 vehicles retail in July in China, according to the July retail sales figures released by the Federation of passengers.
Judging from this data, Tesla quickly returned to production capacity after upgrading the production line in July and August. Delivery is expected to reach 343000 vehicles in the third quarter, including 325158 Model 3 and Model Y models, accounting for nearly 95 percent. Tesla produced 365000 electric vehicles in the third quarter.
CTOnews.com has reported that Tesla delivered 936200 vehicles worldwide in 2021, of which Tesla delivered 484100 vehicles in China, meaning that the Shanghai super factory contributed more than 50 per cent of production.
Tesla delivered 3.1 million and 255000 electric vehicles respectively in the first two quarters of this year, together with the latest 343000 delivered in the third quarter, bringing the total delivery of more than 900000 electric vehicles in the first three quarters of this year.
According to official data, Tesla Shanghai super factory has a capacity of more than 750000 vehicles after upgrading, which is Tesla's current super factory with the highest production capacity. According to Tesla's internal target, delivery is expected to reach 495000 vehicles in the fourth quarter of this year.
In other words, Tesla's delivery volume in the fourth quarter of each year is higher than that in the previous three quarters. This also means that Tesla's sales this year are expected to be close to 1.4 million vehicles.
"Tesla Shanghai factory has completed capacity upgrading, with an annual capacity of more than 750000 vehicles to become the super factory with the highest capacity in the world."
"Musk: Tesla's production capacity in the first half of each quarter is mainly used for export, while the second half will focus on the domestic market."
