But developer Xeno recently found that the latest Windows 11 Dev preview refused to run on the Lumia 950 XL. There seem to be some compatibility issues, which Xeno believes may be related to the need to add ARMv8.1 in the recent version of Build. The Snapdragon 810 chip is obviously no longer supported.

This problem was noticed in Windows 11 Build 25188, while the previous Build 25182 went a step further, resulting in a blue screen panic (BSOD).

Another developer user, Longhorn, also said that Windows11 22H2 is the final version of the ARMv8.0 system. "Windows11 preview version Build 25188 and later will no longer run on Raspberry PI."

Windows 11 Build 22621 Windows 22622 Build 22623 + will be the last version to run on Lumia 950 and 950 XL, and newer versions of the Windows system will not support booting on this hardware.
