The middle orchid section of Yinlan high-speed railway is an important part of the Beijing (Huyin) orchid passage of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network, with a total length of about 219 kilometers and a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour.

CTOnews.com learned that the middle-lan section of the Yinlan high-speed railway is divided into Gansu and Ningxia sections to carry out joint survey and test work, and the total length of the Gansu section of the joint test is about 173km.

The railway department said that after the opening of the Zhonglan section of the Yinlan high-speed railway, the train running time between Zhongwei and Lanzhou will be reduced from the current five hours to more than one hour. After the line is completed and opened to traffic, it will become a fast passenger transport channel connecting North China and Northeast China.
