The Model 3 and Model Y produced in the first half of each quarter are supplied to Europe and other markets in large quantities, while the export volume in the second half is reduced, and the electric vehicles produced are mainly supplied to the domestic market.

With the beginning of the fourth quarter, a large number of electric cars produced by Tesla's Shanghai Super Factory have been exported again, and aerial photos show that a number of ro-ro ships have arrived at the port for shipment.

Foreign media reported that aerial photos taken by aerial photographers on Shanghai's Nangang wharf on October 3 showed that the terminal had concentrated a large number of Tesla electric cars produced by the Shanghai super factory, and a ro-ro ship was being loaded.

In the aerial photos of the next day, a new ro-ro ship appeared, the new one was particularly large, and Tesla electric cars parked on the wharf were also sailing into this ro-ro ship.

In a report in September, foreign media mentioned that the daily output of Tesla's Shanghai super factory has been increased to 2200 vehicles, and after the upgrading of the production line, it will have the capacity to produce about 3000 electric vehicles per day.

When the domestic Tesla Model 3 began to be exported to Europe in October 2020, the first batch of 7000 vehicles were shipped by two ro-ro ships, each with 3500 vehicles. If the ro-ro ships carrying domestic Tesla are still of the same scale, after the daily output exceeds 2000, the output can be filled with one ro-ro ship in less than two days, and it is expected that two ro-ro ships carrying Tesla will appear at the No. 4 Shanghai South Port wharf.

In the third quarter of this year, Tesla delivered a total of 343000 electric vehicles, including 325158 Model 3 and Model Y models, accounting for nearly 95%. Tesla produced 365000 electric vehicles in the third quarter. Tesla delivered 3.1 million and 255000 electric vehicles respectively in the first two quarters of this year, together with the latest 343000 delivered in the third quarter, bringing the total delivery of more than 900000 electric vehicles in the first three quarters of this year. According to Tesla's internal target, delivery is expected to reach 495000 vehicles in the fourth quarter of this year. We have noticed that Tesla's delivery volume in the fourth quarter of each year is higher than that in the previous three quarters. This also means that Tesla's sales this year are expected to be close to 1.4 million vehicles.
