CTOnews.com has reported that the Yinzhong (Sichuan) (Wei) section of the Yinlan high-speed railway was opened on December 29, 2019. The central (Wei) orchid (state) section is about to open, and the joint survey and test work will be carried out in Gansu and Ningxia.

According to reports, the Zhonglan section of the Yinlan high-speed railway is expected to open at the end of December, when it will form a fast passenger passage connecting North China and Northeast China. This is of great significance for promoting the development of the western region and promoting regional economic and social development.

According to public information, the Zhonglan section of the Yinlan high-speed railway is drawn from Zhongwei South Station in the east and connects to the Lanzhou hub through Lanzhou New area in the west, with a designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour and a total length of about 219 kilometers, of which the Ningxia section is about 46.2 kilometers.

According to reports, the Yinlan high-speed railway is an important part of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network, and it is also an important transport infrastructure in the core area of "Belt and Road Initiative" construction and development.

The Zhonglan section of the Yinlan high-speed railway is expected to be in operation by the end of the year, when the train running time from Zhongwei to Lanzhou will be shortened from the current 5 hours to more than 1 hour.
