According to news on October 8, foreign media reported that in May this year, the Idela Group, which supplied several 6000-ton die-casting machines to Tesla's Shanghai Super Factory, Berlin Super Factory and Texas Super Factory, shared a video of the assembly of 9000-ton die-casting machines on social media. Tesla CEO also used Cybertruck body to indicate that it would be used to produce parts for Cybertruck electric pickup trucks.

According to the latest foreign media reports, the 9000-ton die-casting machine built by Yidra Group for Tesla has been built and tested and has been shipped to Houston, Texas.

Foreign media quoted sources as saying that a 9000-ton die-casting machine built by Yidra Group for Tesla left Italy in September and arrived in Houston on September 28.

The 9000-ton die casting machine of the Yidra Group arrived in Houston on the 28th of last month, which means it arrived in Houston by sea, while Austin, where the Texas superfactory in Tesla is located, is not a port city. It is still a long way from Houston and will be transported to Austin by land after arriving at the port of Houston. Sources also revealed on social media that it will be shipped to the Texas super factory soon.

The 9000-ton die-casting machine produced by the Yidra Group, with a total weight of 77526 kg, is composed of 54 major parts. it is the first time they have received an order for 9000-ton die-casting machines for the production of pick-up trucks and SUV models.

After arriving at the Texas super factory in Austin, the 9000-ton die-casting machine still needs to be assembled in the factory and tested before it will be used to make the Cybertruck body of an electric pickup truck.

Cybertruck is an electric pickup launched by Tesla on November 22, 2019. It has attracted attention for its domineering, unique shape and excellent performance. Many consumers have booked it. Less than a week after opening the reservation, the number of bookings exceeded 250000. Tracking data in May last year show that the number of bookings has exceeded 1 million.

Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck was originally planned to be in production from the end of 2021 to the end of 2022, starting with the three-motor all-wheel drive version with the highest mileage, but the final production time is later than planned, with the arrival of 9000-ton die-casting machine, mass production is also a step closer.
