According to CTOnews.com news on October 7, Acer, a major manufacturer of the PC brand, has now reported results for September 2022, with monthly consolidated revenue of NT $27.162 billion (about 6.139 billion yuan), a monthly increase of 34.2%; consolidated revenue of 64.861 billion yuan (about 14.659 billion yuan) in the third quarter; and cumulative consolidated revenue of NT $215.582 billion in the previous September, an annual decrease of 7.3%.

Acer's operating performance highlights include: revenue from e-sports desktop computer Q3 increased by 14.2% year-on-year. Revenue from commercial desktop computer Q3 increased by 8.0% compared with the same period last year. CTOnews.com learned that non-PC and display businesses accounted for 22.9 per cent of Acer's overall revenue in the third quarter, with cumulative revenue up 15.0 per cent in the first nine months of this year compared with the same period a year earlier.

Acer said its listed, over-the-counter, over-the-counter and public offering subsidiaries have all reported revenue in September, with a cumulative annual increase of 21.8% in the previous September. New business highlights in the incubation include: Antus Technology's revenue increased by 211.3% in the third quarter. Acer Zhixin's revenue increased by 24.9% in the third quarter.

Acer pointed out that the strategy of reducing inventory, improving cash flow and building multiple business engines strengthened Acer's resilience in the face of changing economic conditions in the face of the decline of PC in the post-epidemic era.
