CTOnews.com, Oct. 7 (Xinhua)-- today, Apple Original Films and A24 released a trailer for the new play "Causeway" starring Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence.

CTOnews.com learned that Causeway, which tells the story of a soldier trying to adapt to life after returning to New Orleans, will have its world premiere in selected theaters and Apple TV+ on November 4, 2022.

Causeway is directed by Lila Neugebauer and written by Ottessa Moshfegh, Luke Goebel and Elizabeth Sanders. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence and Brian Terry Henry. The film was produced by Lawrence and Justine Ciarrocchi. Neugebauer, Jacob Jaffke, Sophia Lin, Patricia Clarkson, Kirk Michael Fellows and Christopher J. Surgent served as executive producers.

Apple said that since its launch on November 1, 2019, Apple TV+ has become the first all-original streaming media service to be launched globally. To date, Apple original films, documentaries and series have received 278 awards and 1153 nominations, and the number is increasing.
