According to CTOnews.com news on October 7, TSMC today announced its September results, with consolidated revenue of 208.25 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 47.064 billion yuan) in September, down 4.5% from the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 36.4%. Total income from January to September 2022 was NT $1.63836 trillion, an increase of 42.6 per cent over the same period last year.

TSMC shares opened lower today, closing at 438 New Taiwan dollars, down 13 yuan.

CTOnews.com learned that TSMC's August revenue hit an all-time high. Based on TSMC's previous revenue estimates for the third quarter, TSMC's revenue per quarter was about US $19.8 billion in US dollars, or NT $29.7 billion to US $1. TSMC's revenue in the third quarter was about NT $5881 billion to 6118 billion yuan, an increase of 10.5% in the quarter.

Judging from the performance of TSMC's revenue in July and August, the market estimates that TSMC's revenue target for the third quarter can be achieved as long as the September revenue exceeds NT $183.2 billion. Due to the increase in the depreciation of the NT dollar in the third quarter, it will help TSMC's NT revenue.
