Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

On Thursday, local time, the future executive chairman of Faraday, Susan Susan Swenson, announced her resignation. Earlier, the company said that some directors had been subjected to death threats and baseless allegations, which accelerated the transition plan of the company's leadership.

In addition to Mr Swenson, two other board members resigned this week, Jordan Vogel and Scott Vogel, chief independent directors, Faraday said in a securities filing on Thursday. Adam He was appointed interim non-executive chairman.

Since its inception, the startup has been hit by the battle for control. Last month, Faraday's future claimed that criticism of existing management had escalated, including "physical violence and even death threats", and the struggle was morbid. This led to a restructuring of the company, which was planned to leave once the company received a certain amount of capital, giving more control to a group of shareholders who held about 36 per cent of the company.

But Faraday said in the future that the threats prompted Mr Swenson and two other board members to accelerate their exit. In addition to the death threats, the directors were concerned that continued contact with the company could increase the risks to themselves and their families, the company said in a statement.

Faraday announced last month that its first electric car would be delayed until at least next year. Previously, when the company went public last year, it promised to start production by mid-2022. Faraday said in the future that the delay was due to the need for additional financial support.

Faraday in the future also accused the board of so-called "employee whistleblowers" and "various individuals and entities claiming to be current investors" of allegations against the board, including their collusion to drag the company into a quagmire for personal gain. But the company commissioned an independent investigation by an outside body to show that the allegations were unfounded.

Faraday has said in the future that the shareholder group it believes is deeply divided has been influenced by co-founder Jia Yueting. In April, an internal investigation led by Mr Swenson concluded that managers misled investors about Mr Jia's day-to-day control and influence, although they were later excluded.

Faraday faces other problems in the future, including the resignation of the auditor. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has launched an investigation into Faraday's future financial statements.
