It is understood that Samsung Electronics will postpone the next generation of flagship tablet Galaxy Tab S9 series, originally scheduled for development in December, to next year. Samsung Electronics plans to develop three types of Tab S9 series, similar to the S8 series released this year.

Samsung Electronics postponed the development of the Galaxy Tab S9 series until next year, presumably because of recent global economic uncertainty. Recently, some market research companies expect demand for IT products to slow down.

CTOnews.com reported that in February this year, Samsung officially launched its flagship tablet Galaxy Tab S8 series, bringing the Ultra model to the Galaxy Tab series of devices for the first time. The Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8 + and Tab S8 Ultra have 11-inch, 12.4-inch and 14.6-inch displays, respectively, with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, running an operating system based on Android 12.

The Galaxy Tab S8 + and Tab S8 Ultra use Super AMOLED panels to support off-screen optical fingerprint recognition, while the basic model Tab S8 uses a LTPS TFT screen with a side fingerprint recognition scheme. All three Galaxy Tab S8 models support 120Hz display refresh rate.

In terms of price, Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra starts at $1099.99 (about 6995.94 yuan), Galaxy Tab S8 + starts at $899.99 (about 5723.94 yuan), and Galaxy Tab S8 starts at $699.99 (about 4451.94 yuan).
