CTOnews.com October 6 news, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16GB graphics card's first benchmark test results have been exposed. This model has a significant performance improvement compared to the previous generation 3080 in 3DMark testing, and even the leaked 3DMark and game benchmark scores have already outperformed RTX 3090Ti 24GB.

CTOnews.com has reported that Nvidia launched 16-GB and 12-GB versions of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 last month, with official proposed prices of 9499 yuan and 7199 yuan, respectively. The two graphics cards have different CUDA cores and different GPU chips. The recommended power supply is 750W and 700W.

According to reports, RTX 4080 16GB has 9728 CUDA cores and 16GB high-speed Meguiar GDDR6X memory, which can reach twice the performance of GeForce RTX 3080 Ti in modern games; it is more powerful than GeForce RTX 3090 Ti at lower power.

According to the test results released by Chiphell user @ panzerlied, the benchmark test of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16GB graphics card is based on the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D platform, which shows the single-precision performance of 53.6TFLOPs in AIDA64, which is 8% higher than the officially announced 49TFLOPs.

By contrast, RTX 3090Ti only has 40TFLOP, so the single-precision computing performance of RTX 4080 16GB can be said to be 32.5% better than 3090Ti. It is worth mentioning that the current RTX 3090Ti channel quotation of about 9000 million 10,000 yuan, taking into account the power supply and other aspects of demand, the overall RTX 4080 price performance is not as high as you imagine.

In terms of the comprehensive benchmark, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16 GB scored 13977 in 3DMark Time Spy Extreme, 17465 in 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra and 17607 in 3DMark Port Royal benchmark.

For comparison, the non-public version of RTX 3090Ti SUPRIM X with severe overclocking scored 11643 in Time Spy Extreme, 13554 in Fire Strike Ultra and 15124 in Port Royal. A brief comparison shows that:

In Time Spy Extreme, RTX 4080 16GB is 20% better than RTX 3090 Ti 24GB

In Fire Strike Ultra, RTX 4080 16GB is 29% stronger than RTX 3090 Ti 24GB.
