CTOnews.com October 5 news, notebook manufacturer XMG announced today that its APEX 15 MAX (E22) notebook computer now supports AMD's R7 5800X3D desktop cache processor by updating BIOS.

According to reports, with the second major BIOS update to version 1.07.09A01 Magi APEX 15 MAX (E22) notebooks can now use AMD's fastest game CPU R7 5800X3D. R7 5800X3D outperforms R7 5700X by about 30 per cent in Tomb Raider, according to XMG test data.

CTOnews.com reported that in May, XMG released a new Apex 15 Max laptop with a desktop AMD CPU, a graphics card of RTX 3060 or RTX 3070, and a 15.6-inch FHD 240Hz display.

In addition, the HDMI port of this laptop has been upgraded to 2.1standard, as well as DisplayPort 1.4 and USB type-C interface. In terms of price, the notebook starts at 1399 euros (about 9918.91 yuan).
