CTOnews.com October 5 news, last night, CD PROJEKT co-founder and co-CEO Marcin Iwinski announced that with the release of the strategy report, it will submit its candidacy for chairman of the company's supervisory board and give up the post of co-chief executive. Responsibilities will be handed over to colleagues on the board by the end of 2022.

Iwinski said it was a very important decision for him. He has worked at CD PROJEKT for nearly 30 years and has seen CD PROJEKT "go from a few passionate developers to a development team loved by millions of players around the world for plot-driven role-playing games".

CTOnews.com learned that Iwinski called it an elusive dream when he founded the company with Micha "Kici" ski. Today, CD PROJEKT is made up of more than 1200 people in offices around the world.

In addition, Iwinski said: "the strategy we announced today (October 4) is ambitious because we have such an exciting and strong team at the helm. I deeply believe that our plan will take CD PROJEKT to new heights."

According to reports, Iwinski intends to continue to participate actively in the new non-executive duties as a major shareholder and shift its focus to supporting the entire management committee. He will also continue to let CD PROJEKT maintain its unique spirit of "making the best narrative games in the world and being kind to players."
