CTOnews.com October 4 news, today, Hon Hai released revenue figures for September 2022. Data show that Hon Hai's September revenue was 822.3 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 184.195 billion yuan), an increase of 83.18% month-on-month and 40.39% year-on-year, the highest for the same period in previous years.

CTOnews.com learned that Hon Hai's revenue in the third quarter was 1.7463 trillion New Taiwan dollars (about 391.171 billion yuan), an increase of 15.62 percent month-on-month and 24.40 percent year-on-year. Revenue in the first nine months of this year totaled 4.6649 trillion New Taiwan dollars, up 13.66 percent from a year earlier, both record highs for the same period last year.

Hon Hai said September revenue hit a single-month high in the group's history, with positive growth in all four major product categories. Among them, benefiting from the release of new products in September, mass production was smooth, and the "consumer smart product category" grew strongly compared with the previous month, which was the main source of revenue growth for the group in September.

In terms of revenue in the third quarter, Hon Hai said all four major product categories showed positive growth compared with the same period last year.

For comparison, Hon Hai earned NT $448.906 billion (about 101.004 billion yuan) in August, down 5.5% from a month earlier and up 12.2% from a year earlier.
