Recently, the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Commerce issued a notice to select the platform enterprises that undertake the issuance of this kind of electronic consumption coupons.

According to the website of Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, in order to further enhance the pulling effect of bulk consumption such as home appliances and furniture on the consumer market, the issuance of 2022 "Tesco Wuhan" household appliance furniture consumption coupons is scheduled to start in November 2022, with one online e-commerce platform and one offline coupon issuing service platform to undertake the related work.

Internet platform enterprises that meet the requirements and intend to participate in the activities shall submit "2022" Tesco Wuhan "Application for Home Appliances Furniture consumption Voucher" to the special class of Wuhan Bureau of Commerce before October 9, including the brief introduction of the distribution platform, the results of previous activities, the work plan for the issuance of consumption coupons, relevant qualifications and other supporting materials. Make response documents (including supporting self-owned funds and superimposed merchant concessions that can be provided by the platform during the period of issuing consumer coupons) and submit them to the special class of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce for issuing consumer coupons (e-commerce office) before 17:00 on October 9th.

CTOnews.com learned that the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Commerce said that the issuance of consumption coupons will implement a circuit breaker mechanism for selected platform enterprises that fail to implement the contract or default. During the period of issuing consumption coupons, it has been determined that if the selected service platform fails to prevent illegal acts of using software to snatch coupons, occurs large-scale consumption coupon cashing (and risk), seriously violates the rules for the issuance and use of consumer coupons, and refuses to perform the obligations of tripartite agreements for the issuance of consumer coupons, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce will terminate the qualification of the platform to participate in the issuance of 2022 "Tesco Wuhan" household appliance furniture consumption coupons as appropriate.
