CTOnews.com, October 3, according to CINNO Research, statistics show that the semiconductor equipment business of 1H'22 globally listed companies ranked Top10 with total revenue of US $47.3 billion, up 4.2% from the same period last year and down 7.6% from the previous month. The semiconductor equipment business of Q2O22 global listed companies ranks Top10 with total revenue of US $23.9 billion, which is basically the same as that of Q1Cr22.

The revenue ranking of semiconductor equipment business of 1H'22 listed companies worldwide is the same as that of Top10 equipment manufacturers in Q1y22, with a slight change in the ranking.

CTOnews.com learned that the report shows that the US company Applied Materials (AMAT) 1H'22 revenue of more than 10 billion US dollars, still firmly in the first place, the Dutch company ASML (ASML) 1H'22 from the fourth to the second place, the United States company LAM (LAM) ranked unchanged, ranking third, the Japanese company Tokyo Electron (TEL) fell from the second to the fourth ranking of 1H'22. In terms of revenue, the semiconductor business of the top four equipment manufacturers all had revenue of more than $7.6 billion in the first half of 2022.

(2) the revenue ranking is based on the revenue of semiconductor business, excluding revenue from other businesses such as FPD,PCB.

Top 1 Applied Materials (AMAT)-USA

The world's largest semiconductor equipment manufacturer, semiconductor business can almost run through the entire semiconductor process, semiconductor products include thin film deposition (CVD, PVD, etc.), ion implantation, etching, rapid thermal treatment, chemical mechanical leveling (CMP), measurement and testing equipment. Revenue from 1H'22 's semiconductor business rose 1.0 per cent from a year earlier, down 4.8 per cent from a month earlier.

Top 2 Asmah (ASML)-Netherlands

The world's largest lithography equipment manufacturer, but also the only EUV lithography equipment manufacturer in the world that can provide 7nm advanced processes. Revenue from 1H'22 's semiconductor business fell 5.1% from a year earlier, down 22.2% from a month earlier. It said that mainly due to rapid shipments but requires customers to complete factory verification to confirm revenue, revenue is expected to be delayed to 2023, so year-on-year decline.

Top 3 Pan Forest (LAM)-USA

Pan-Lin, also known as Ram Research, specializes in etching equipment, thin film deposition equipment and cleaning equipment for semiconductor manufacturing. Revenue from 1H'22 's semiconductor business rose 8.8 per cent from a year earlier, up 1.9 per cent from a month earlier.

Top 4 Tokyo Electron (TEL)-Japan

Japan's largest semiconductor equipment manufacturer, the main business includes semiconductors and flat panel display manufacturing equipment, semiconductor products include glue-coated imaging equipment, heat treatment equipment, dry etching equipment, chemical vapor deposition equipment, wet cleaning equipment and testing equipment. Revenue from 1H'22 's semiconductor business fell 1.4 per cent from a year earlier, down 12.1 per cent from a month earlier.

Top 5 Corey (KLA)-USA

Semiconductor process testing equipment absolute leading enterprises, semiconductor products include defect detection, film thickness measurement, CD measurement, registration accuracy measurement and other testing equipment. Revenue from 1H'22 's semiconductor business rose 32.3 per cent from a year earlier, up 7.2 per cent from a month earlier.

Top 6 Deans (Screen)-Japan

The main business includes semiconductor, flat panel display and printed circuit board manufacturing equipment, semiconductor products include etching, glue development and cleaning equipment. Revenue from 1H'22 's semiconductor business rose 10.6 per cent from a year earlier, down 11.4 per cent from a month earlier.

Top 7 Edwin Test (Advantest)-Japan

Main semiconductor testing and mechatronics system testing system and related equipment, semiconductor products include back-channel testing machine and sorting machine. Revenue from 1H'22 's semiconductor business grew 10.3 per cent year-on-year and 4.1 per cent month-on-month.

Top 8 Hitachi High-tech (Hitachi High-Tech)-Japan

Main semiconductor equipment, electron microscope, FPD equipment and medical analysis equipment, semiconductor products include deposition, etching, testing equipment, as well as packaging equipment. Revenue from 1H'22 's semiconductor business rose 12.7% from a year earlier, up 29.8% from a month earlier.

Top 9 ASM International (ASMI)-Netherlands

The main business includes semiconductor front deposition equipment, and the products include thin film deposition and diffusion oxidation equipment. Revenue from 1H'22 's semiconductor business grew 19.3 per cent year-on-year, up 4.0 per cent from a month earlier.
