CTOnews.com October 3 news, yesterday, the Secretary-General of the Federation Cui Dongshu issued a document said, January to August 2022 sales of generalized new energy vehicles 8.54 million units, of which hybrid power reached 2.42 million units, accounting for 24%. Among them, the trend of new energy passenger vehicles in the world is relatively strong, reaching 5.91 million units from January to August 2022, with a year-on-year growth of 70%; the sales volume in August is 900,000 units, with a year-on-year growth of 72%.

Cui Dongshu pointed out that from January to August 2022, China's new energy passenger vehicles accounted for 68% of the world's new energy performance, which is mainly due to China's strong demand for new energy, while Europe's traditional vehicles and new energy vehicles production and sales are low, so China's development is very strong.

According to the data of China Automobile Association, in August, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 691,000 and 666,000 respectively, and the monthly production and sales reached an all-time high again, with the production and sales increasing by 1.2 times and 1 time respectively compared with the same period last year. Among them, the production and sales of pure electric vehicles were 536,000 and 522,000 respectively, up 1.1 times and 92.9% year-on-year respectively; the production and sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles were 155,000 and 144,000 respectively, up 1.7 times and 1.6 times year-on-year respectively; the production and sales of fuel cell vehicles were 97 and 255 respectively, up 1.4 times and 5.7 times year-on-year respectively.

CTOnews.com learned that from January to August, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 3.97 million and 3.86 million respectively, up 1.2 times and 1.1 times respectively compared with the same period last year. Among them, the production and sales of pure electric vehicles were 3.11 million and 3.04 million respectively, with a year-on-year growth of double; the production and sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles were 857,000 and 818,000 respectively, with a year-on-year growth of 1.9 times and 1.7 times respectively; the production and sales of fuel cell vehicles were 2,000, with a year-on-year growth of 2 times and 1.6 times respectively.
