CTOnews.com reported on October 2 that the OPPO Reno9 series, the new iterative machine of the OPPO Reno series, had previously been exposed to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 / MediaTek Tianji 8 series processors.

Today, the blogger @ digital chat station revealed that the OPPO Reno9 series processor will be replaced from the previous generation of Reno8 Pro Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 to Snapdragon 778G series, ostensibly downgrading the processor, but the blogger said it was "upgraded".

CTOnews.com learned that Snapdragon 7 Gen1 was released in May this year, and the core architecture consists of 1 2.4GHz A710 super core, 3 2.36GHz A710 large cores, and 4 1.8GHz A510 small cores, using Samsung's 4nm process.

So far, however, the only processors that use Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 are OPPO Reno8 Pro and Xiaomi Civi 2. If the OPPO Reno9 series is also abandoned, then the shipment of Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 is really something to worry about.
