CTOnews.com, Oct. 2, according to SamMobile, some users have reported that the Verizon version of Samsung Galaxy S21 series will not be able to receive text messages after the update in September 2022. The problem is so common that even T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S21 series users have reported it.

It is reported that Samsung Galaxy S21 phones with problems will have to wait several hours to receive text messages, and rebooting the phone will not solve the problem. The temporary solution is to turn on flight mode, remove the SIM card and reinsert it.

On September 29, the Verizon version of Samsung Galaxy S21 series released a firmware version of G991USQS5CVI8 update. The Verizon change log reads: "fixed intermittent failure of devices to receive text messages. In addition to this bug fix, this update also upgrades the security patch to October 2022."
