Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
Thank CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of vegetable clues! CTOnews.com, October 2 (Xinhua)-- on yesterday's Tesla 2022 AI Day, officials showed off the latest results of its customized Dojo supercomputer, which consumed so much power that it tripped local substations.
Dojo is Tesla's own customized supercomputer platform, used for artificial intelligence machine learning, to help train his autopilot vision skills, and so on. The previous Dojo carries Nvidia's GPU, while the new version uses chips and infrastructure designed by Tesla himself.
Tesla showed off the super-complete cabinet of the Dojo, claiming that six GPU could be replaced with one Dojo unit, which the company claimed would cost less than one GPU. There are six such units in each rack.
The Dojo host interface is described as follows:

"in order to support our unprecedented cooling and power density, we must re-examine all aspects of the data center infrastructure and develop our own high-performance cooling and power systems to power the Dojo cabinets," said Dojo Chief Systems engineer Dojo Bill Chang when the Dojo cabinets were opened.
Bill Chang revealed that substations in the local power grid were tripped while testing infrastructure earlier this year.
"earlier this year, we started load testing of our power and cooling infrastructure, pushing up power by more than 2 megawatts, then the substation tripped and received a call from the municipal government."
The following is what the full cluster Dojo Exapod looks like when it is turned off and on:
Tesla released the main specifications of Dojo Exapod: 1.1 EFLOP, 1.3 TB SRAM and 13 TB DRAM. CTOnews.com has learned that Tesla plans to build seven Dojo Exapod overruns in Palo Alto, the first of which is planned to be completed in the first quarter of 2023.
