CTOnews.com, October 2, according to openEuler, openEuler is an open source operating system for digital infrastructure, and openEuler 22.09 is the latest innovative version built by the community, releasing diverse computing power, deepening scene innovation, and realizing the interconnection between Euler and Hongmeng. As the first innovative version after the community donation, openEuler 22.09 has a total of 670 million lines of code, 2012 lines of new code, 48000 lines of original code in the kernel, and more than 12000 new northbound source software packages, totaling 28087.

1265 developers participated in the version contribution of openEuler 22.09. Compared with the previous version, the number of developers participating in the version contribution increased by 63%, which is the largest number of developers in the released release of openEuler. According to the official introduction, openEuler 22.09 added system images for SW-64 and LoongArch architecture, added support for ARM architecture memory fault tolerance, SME, business secret acceleration and other features, added support for Intel SPR kernel and virtualization, and added QEMU, D1, unmatched and VisionFive running environments for RISC-V.

OpenEuler community accumulatively supports more than 10 mainstream board manufacturers such as Avago, Emulex, Mellanox, Intel, NVIDIA, Marvell, QLogic, Huawei, Broadcom, Netswift, etc.; more than 10 mainstream CPU manufacturers such as Intel, AMD, Kunpeng, Feiteng, Mega Core, Haiguang, Shenwei, Ruixin Micro, RISC-V and so on; and more than 20 mainstream machine manufacturers such as Chaochao, Zhongke Control, ZTE, Superfusion, Xinhua, Tongfang, Baode, Baixin and so on. In order to ensure the compatibility of software and hardware products based on openEuler with solutions, the distribution based on openEuler community version meets the requirements of the community route. At present, through the Euler Ecological Innovation Center, 221solutions have been certified, including 204general certificates and 17 OS certificates, providing safe and reliable full-scene products and solutions.

The community continues to build and deploy the system around openEuler Devkit and openEuler Devops, and the native development capabilities of the community.

OpenEuler Devkit publishes the Opensd deployment tool and GCC plug-in framework:

Opensd deployment tool: China Unicom open source self-developed Opensd components to openEuler version 22.09, supporting OpenStack to achieve one-click batch automatic deployment of openStack service components, greatly improving the efficiency of operation and maintenance development.

GCC plug-in framework: to help developers better carry out compiler optimization and innovation, and enhance capability sharing among different compilers. Support two types of statistical and analytical plug-ins (inline functions and variable types), provide security reinforcement capabilities such as plug-in integrity checking, decouple GCC compilation and plug-in process, greatly improve the flexibility of plug-in development, and enrich the compiler developer ecology.
