If you activate the purchased DLC before October, you can still use it as usual. If you already have DLC but do not activate it, you will not be able to play normally (DLC can still be downloaded / activated / played normally on the host side).

Online service outage (updated October 2022)

Last month, we shared an update about the retirement of some of Ubisoft's classic games online service on September 1, 2022. Today, we have a small update about this outage to inform players.

It is not a hasty decision to deactivate online services for classic games, but as the technologies that drive these services become obsolete, we must deactivate them. In the past month, our team has been trying to explore ways to reduce interference.

As a result, we have changed the retirement date from September 1, 2022 to October 1, 2022, and some PC games such as Assassin's Creed: fraternity, Assassin's Creed 3 (released in 2012), isolated Island Horror 3 and Cell Division: blacklist will be available for download and preservation by October 1, 2022.

If you own these games on the PC side, please activate your DLC before the online service is deactivated on October 1, 2022 to continue playing. The same single-player game DLC on the host side will not be affected. You can continue to download and play after October 1, 2022. You can learn more from the updates from the Assassin Creed team.

In addition, there is still an active game team in Ubisoft Mainz supporting Epoch and a working group dedicated to deploying updates for Epoch 2070, which will update the game and replace the old online service. let players enjoy their online features in the future.

The following games will be added to our online service outage list on October 1, 2022.

Please note that the "Space Junkies" (HTC VIVE, Oculus) on the PC side will cease its online service on September 1, 2022 as originally planned.
