In June last year, BYD Semiconductor Co., Ltd. formally submitted its listing application to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and was accepted. According to the prospectus, BYD Semiconductor's main business includes the R & D, production and sales of power semiconductors, intelligent control IC, intelligent sensors and optoelectronic semiconductors, with three subsidiaries of Ningbo Semiconductor, Energy Saving Technology and Changsha Semiconductor.

BYD Semiconductor is 72.3% controlled by BYD. Sequoia, Advanced Manufacturing Fund and Xiaomi Industry Fund are all shareholders in the top 10 shares of BYD Semiconductor.

This time, IPO BYD Semiconductor plans to raise 2.7 billion yuan, which will be used in the R & D and industrialization project of power semiconductors and intelligent control devices, and 2.1 billion yuan will be invested in the industrialization and upgrading project of new power semiconductor chips. 300 million yuan will be invested and raised, and 300 million yuan will be replenished.
