The Endurance electric pickup truck, Lordstown's first car, is equipped with four hub motors with a top speed of 128km / h, a range of more than 250mph and a price of $52500 (372000 yuan).

In November, Lordstown expected to begin production and delivery of its first all-electric pickup, the Endurance, in the third quarter of 2022.

On Thursday morning local time, the company announced that the first two Endurance electric pickup trucks would be launched and removed from the production line at Foxconn's Ohio plant, and a third pickup truck is expected to be completed soon. Production will increase slowly due to supply chain constraints and is expected to accelerate production in November and December, the company said.

Foxconn is reported to have bought Lordstown's car assembly plant in Ohio for $230 million. The plant was built by GM in 1966 and acquired from GM by Lordstown in November 2019.

Foreign media said that the cooperation with Foxconn has brought greater financial stability to Lordstown than before. At the end of 2021, Lordstown said in a document that the company had serious cash flow problems that made it impossible for it to continue to operate after June 2022. After selling its Ohio plant to Foxconn, the company gained a considerable cash buffer through contract manufacturing and an agreement to form a research and development joint venture between the two companies.
