CTOnews.com, Sept. 30, according to theinformation, internal documents show that in order to retain employees, Tesla will begin to offer cash rewards to employees instead of traditional stock awards.

According to the documents, Tesla employees can still receive stock awards instead of cash awards if they wish, but they will receive cash by default. Tesla's shares have risen sharply over the past few years-a split-adjusted trading price of nearly $30 at the beginning of 2020 closed at $268.21 on Thursday.

The award is awarded when an employee is hired, changed jobs or promoted as part of his or her annual performance review. Employees in New York, Ohio and Louisiana were excluded from the change because of local laws.

As of CTOnews.com, Tesla quoted an intraday price of US $272.50, an increase of about 1.60%, with a market capitalization of US $853.777 billion.
