Among them, the export of new energy vehicles was 340000, an increase of 97.4% over the same period last year, contributing 26.7% to the growth of automobile exports.

CTOnews.com learned that China exported 2.138 million cars in 2021, exceeding 2 million for the first time, making it the third largest automobile exporter in the world after Japan and Germany.

Cui Dongshu, secretary-general of the Federation of passengers, said in an article that the main reason for the growth of our new energy vehicle exports is the rapid rise of the European market and the rapid occupation of the relative main position. In addition, the number of new energy vehicles exported to Asia also rose to about US $10,000 in 2022, reflecting a marked increase.

He said that at present, the European market has accounted for nearly 50% of the proportion, the performance is relatively strong. Since 2021, the European market has surpassed the Asian market to become the largest export market for new energy vehicles, and the average export price in the European market is about $30,000, while the average export price in the Asian market is currently about $6000.

Cui Dongshu said that the average price of car exports has been rising in recent years, rising to 15000 US dollars in 2021 and a sharp rise in 2022. From 2022, we can see the growth of US $10, 000 to US $20, 000 and US $20, 000 to US $50, 000, as well as a substantial increase in exports of more than US $50, 000, while the average price of about US $10, 000 has slowed sharply. China's high-end car exports are strong, especially the performance of high-end models this year is extremely outstanding.
