CTOnews.com September 30 news, the international automobile analysis agency TrueCar has now released its September forecast. They expect Tesla's sales in the United States to reach 42959 this month, an increase of 63.4 percent over the same period last year, but Tesla is not the fastest growing carmaker in September.

GM's sales are up 74.2% from a year earlier, according to TrueCar estimates, so GM will become the largest U.S. automaker by sales in September, with nearly 200000 vehicles, followed by Tesla and Volkswagen (up 31.9% to 51216 vehicles).

TrueCar points out that Honda is once again the fastest-declining carmaker in the US, down 15.3 per cent from September last year, followed by Stellantis, down 3.6 per cent from a year earlier and Ford by 3.3 per cent.

In addition, TrueCar forecasts include an increase in new car sales (up 13 per cent year-on-year), a decline in used car sales (up-11 per cent) and an average price increase of 6 per cent over last year. This shows that the supply chain is improving and the demand of the American people is still high.

TrueCar predicts that as Tesla's sales continue to rise in September, US electric vehicle sales will also increase from last year. However, investors may have to wait until the end of the quarter to see more specific sales figures.

CTOnews.com has reported that TrueCar's sales analysis for August showed that Tesla's sales in the United States increased by about 105% compared with the same period last year.

Tesla sold 77000 vehicles in China in August, according to Cui Dongshu, a passenger association. According to the July retail sales data of new energy vehicles released by the Federation of passengers, Tesla exported 42463 vehicles and wholesale 76965 vehicles in August.

"Federation of passengers: retail sales of new energy passenger cars reached 529000 in August, an increase of 111.2% over the same period last year."
