According to the report, the product department of Xiaomi Vice President Li Xiaoshuang is in charge of Vice President Yu Liguo, while Li Xiaoshuang is based in Shanghai and is mainly in charge of the supply chain.

CTOnews.com learned that Li Xiaoshuang previously served as director of multi-reading products, then moved to Xiaomi TV and became vice president of Xiaomi Automobile in October 2021. Yu Liguo joined Xiaomi Motor in the second half of 2021 after working as an executive at BAIC for many years and as president of BAIC's Polar Fox.

According to 36 Krypton, this executive change is almost a year since Xiaomi announced that it has been building a car for more than a year, with few involving the change of vice president's position.

The Management Committee of Beijing Economic and technological Development Zone signed a cooperation agreement with Xiaomi in November last year, formally announcing that Xiaomi Motor has settled in Beijing Economic Development Zone. In addition, Xiaomi Automobile was registered in Beijing on September 1 last year, and the first factory will be located in Beijing. Xiaomi Motor will build a complete vehicle plant in two phases in the Beijing Economic and technological Development Zone, with a cumulative annual production capacity of 300000 vehicles and a production capacity of 150000 vehicles for both Phase I and Phase II. Xiaomi aims to achieve mass production in the first half of 2024, and 36 Krypton said that Yu Liguo would take over or in order to better achieve the mass production target.
