With the exception of Apple, TSMC customers can postpone orders scheduled for next year, but TSMC has no intention of cutting prices or offering discounts even for large orders in 2023, the sources said.

AMD, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, MediaTek and Broadcom need to wait until 2024 to enter the 3nm era one after another.

The most important thing is that TSMC has not yet made any concessions on the OEM quotation, nor has it restored its previous sales discount business model. TSMC can accept customers to reduce orders or delay delivery within an appropriate range, but everything is in accordance with the contract and will not absorb any losses on its own.
