CTOnews.com Sept. 29, NetEase now announced that they have hired Jonathan Maureen, the director of the watchdog series 1 and 2, who will be in charge of the Montreal studio.

According to reports, Morin was the creative director of Ubisoft's two watchdog games, and he will serve as the creative director of the new IP in NetEase.

Maureen said: "I am pleased to announce my new adventure and become the creative director of NetEase Games in Montreal. I am honored to join a new team full of passion and talent to create our own IP. This is a special start for me. I can't wait to say more."

CTOnews.com learned that NetEase Montreal was founded in 2019 and is mainly responsible for the field of console games. So far, the studio has handled the release of 24 Entertainment Forever.

Previously, Montreal Studio has hired Emile Liang, a senior producer of "Assassin's Creed" and "Lonely Island," as its lead producer.
