CTOnews.com, September 29 (Xinhua)-- today, Strategy Analytics released a report saying that mid-and high-end Q2 smartphone models and high-end smartphone models have earned considerable global revenue in 2022.

The wholesale price of ultra-high-end smartphones is $600 (4314 yuan) or more, accounting for half of total revenue for Q2 smartphones in 2022, slightly lower than in the previous two quarters, the report said. In addition to the mid-range of $100-190 (wholesale), prices of $191-299 and $300-399 are also important sources of smartphone revenue, accounting for 22% of smartphone revenue in the second quarter.

According to Strategy Analytics, eight of the Top 20's highest-revenue smartphone models fall into these two categories. There are also fewer competing models at these two prices compared with the $100-190 price range.

CTOnews.com learned that the report said Apple iPhone SE 5G, Samsung Galaxy A735G, vivo V235G and Xiaomi 125G were high-end products with wholesale prices of $300,399, while the other six products were high-end products with wholesale prices of $191,299.
