CTOnews.com September 28 news, tonight, Sony officially released the new movie camera system FX30 (model name: ILME-FX30), the price starts at 14000 yuan.

According to reports, FX30 is a compact 4K Super 35mm format movie camera, which supports professional functions such as dual-basic ISO, Log shooting mode and importing custom LUT. It is suitable for users who want to start professional film creation.

According to reports, the FX30 imaging system can provide a cinematic picture quality for new creators. It uses a newly developed backlit APS-C Exmor R CMOS image sensor (Super 35mm format) with an effective pixel of about 20.1 million and has a dual-base ISO (800amp 2500) for excellent images with high sensitivity, low noise and 14 + dynamic range.

FX30 has a variety of video recording codec formats, supports 4K 60p shooting, records in 6K oversampling 4K Super 35 mm (16:9) format, and has high frame rate recording performance of 4K 120p and HD 240p. Both 16:9 modes support 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording, or you can connect external recording devices through the HDMI Type-An interface for 4K 16-bit RAW5 external recording.

Like other Sony Movie camera system models, FX30 enables Cine El, Cine El Quick, and flexible ISO modes for recording using S-Log3 gamma curves, and Log shooting mode provides greater flexibility in color blending, all three modes support video shooting while using LUT monitoring to preview the final imaging. In addition, FX30 also has a number of built-in image profiles, such as Sony's S-Cinetone, and supports single still photo shooting. The BIONZ XR image processor provides excellent processing performance, allowing the picture to show natural gradients and true colors.

CTOnews.com learned that the Sony Picture camera ILME-FX30 will be available in early October 2022 with a suggested retail price of 16000 yuan, and a stand-alone ILME-FX30B without a handle with an suggested retail price of 14,000 yuan. The FX30 electric zoom set, a combination of FX30 and lens SELP18105G and CEA-G80T, has a suggested retail price of 19800 yuan.
