It is also required that the electronic cigarette set should have the protective function of preventing children from starting and preventing accidental starting.

At that time, all fruit-flavored e-cigarettes will be removed from the shelves, and the national unified e-cigarette trading management platform only provides national standard tobacco-flavored e-cigarettes and smoking sets with children's locks.

On April 8, 2022, the General Administration of Market Supervision (SAC) issued the mandatory national standard of GB 41700-2022 "E-cigarettes". The standard is formulated by the General Administration of Market Supervision, in conjunction with the State Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, and by organizing the National Tobacco Standardization Technical Committee and relevant technical institutions. The contents of the standard mainly include: first, defining the relevant terms and definitions of electronic cigarette and atomization; second, putting forward the principle requirements for the design of electronic cigarette and the selection of raw materials; third, putting forward clear technical requirements for electronic cigarette set, atomization and release respectively, and giving the supporting test methods; fourth, stipulating the signs and instructions of electronic cigarette products.

In addition, in March this year, the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration issued a notice on the measures for the Administration of Electronic cigarettes, which will come into force on May 1, 2022. With regard to sales management, the measures mentioned that the sale of e-cigarette products to minors is prohibited, and if it is difficult to tell whether they are minors, they should be required to show their identity documents; the sale of flavored e-cigarettes other than tobacco flavor and e-cigarettes that can add their own atomization are prohibited.
