CTOnews.com, September 28, according to CCTV news, data released by the National Railway Group on the 27th show that the mileage of railways in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei provinces and cities has reached 10848 km by the end of August 2022, including 2369 km of high-speed rail.

CTOnews.com learned that the National Railway Group said that it has now achieved full railway coverage for cities with a population of more than 200000 in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, with railway coverage and high-speed rail coverage for all prefecture-level cities. According to reports, the National Railway Group plans to build the Jingtang and Jingbin railways this year, and start the construction of high-speed railways from Xiongan New area to Shangqiu, Xiongan New area to Xinzhou and Tianjin to Weifang.

Among them, the Xiongshang high-speed railway has a total length of 552 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Xiongxin high-speed railway starts from Xiongan Station of Jingxiong Intercity Railway in the east to Xinzhou West Station of Xi'an High-speed Railway from Datong to Xi'an, with a total length of 342 kilometers.

Judging from the financial accounts of the National Railway Group in the first half of 2022, the national railway completed an investment of 285.3 billion yuan in fixed assets, 2.1% more than last year's progress plan, and put into production 2043.5 km of new lines, including 995.9 km of high-speed rail.
