CTOnews.com, September 28, the disappearance of Windows Phone must be a regret in the hearts of many CTOnews.com buddies. Recently, a developer named Lin Yang launched a Windows Phone simulator on GitHub that can run WP7 and WP8 games on Android.

According to the developer's description on Reddit, the simulator can run the XNA application of Windows Phone 7 to 8, which is still in its early version. As of the third quarter of 2022, 15 of the 33 games tested were operational. Foreign media Android Police has been tested, and no risk has been found in the simulator.

CTOnews.com partners can download the APK file of the simulator on GitHub, and then load the XNA file themselves. At present, the simulator version is Alpha 0.0.1, which supports Xbox Live game pop-up achievements, but it can only be run under Vulkan, and there is no zoom option, which needs to be further optimized.
