CTOnews.com Sept. 28, Apple News appears to have been hacked because a large number of users reported receiving Apple news notices from the business magazine Fast Company containing obscene information, and they posted similar content on the media's website indicating that its content management system or an account on it had been compromised.

CTOnews.com has learned that Apple and Fast Company have not commented on the incident and it is not clear how many people have received the notification, but a general search on social media will show that many users have received the notification. In addition, according to Vox Media staff who do not subscribe to "Fast Company", the notice also appears on their mobile phones.

Apple News is highly unlikely to be attacked, and given that this is a single event for a publisher, it is more likely that the publisher's Apple ID was accessed without permission. However, it is clear that Apple News should filter certain words before the notice is posted to iPhone to avoid such incidents.
