CTOnews.com, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) recently, an anonymous user posted more than an hour's "GTA6" development video on the GTA forum, which may become one of the most high-profile data breaches in the history of the gaming industry. British police have confirmed they have charged a teenager arrested on suspicion of hacking in connection with recent "GTA6" and Uber data leaks, according to a report.

The 17-year-old hacker pleaded not guilty to computer abuse charges, according to Bloomberg law today.

A 17-year-old arrested in Oxfordshire on Thursday has been charged with two counts of breach of bail and two counts of computer abuse and appeared in Cape Highbury Youth Court on Saturday, London police said on Saturday.

Prosecutor WA Valerie Benjamin said in court that the suspect had used his mobile phone to hack into the company and "blackmail them" to obtain illegally obtained software. The man denied hacking with his mobile phone in a youth court. The judge announced that the case would be referred to a higher court, where a "similar" case would be heard later.

CTOnews.com learned that although the police did not comment on whether the arrest was related to this month's "GTA6" data leak, journalist Matthew Keys quoted sources as saying that the teenager was known as "A.K." because of his age.

The teenager, who has ties to an organization called Lapsus$, was arrested earlier this year for hacking into Microsoft and Nvidia, the source said. Keys sources said: "US federal law enforcement officials worked with their British counterparts to determine that A.K. Was a joint suspect in both attacks."

In addition, a law enforcement source said at least two other people are believed to have been involved in the attacks on R Star and Uber, and more arrests are expected.
