Although the resolution of Apple's iPhone 14 Pro Max is basically the same as that of the iPhone 13 Pro Max, Apple has made a number of improvements to the display, such as expanding the range of the LTPO OLED display to 1Hz to 120Hz instead of 10Hz to 120Hz, and supporting low-power constant highlight options.

According to DisplayMate, the iPhone 14 Pro Max can reach a peak brightness of 2300 nits, more than twice that of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. CTOnews.com learned that Apple had previously advertised a peak brightness of up to 2000 nitts, so the test exceeded even Apple's official propaganda. According to DisplayMate, HDR has a maximum brightness of 1590 nits, which is 33% higher than that of iPhone 13 Pro MAX.

Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max won a total of 15 awards, higher than the 13 won by iPhone 13 Pro Max. DisplayMate said Apple focused on improving the absolute image quality and color accuracy of the OLED through accurate factory display calibration, which the website called "visually perfect."
