CTOnews.com September 27 news, after some Apple iPhone 14 Pro users complained that iOS 16 battery is easy to drain, but may not be the most serious problem. Now, some customers report that their iPhone device intermittently restarts when charging via MagSafe or Lightning.

In Reddit posts, some users complained that the iPhone 14 Pro randomly restarts when charging. The issue had occurred 8 days earlier and included charging with MagSafe or Lightning cables.

Another user said the iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 16.0.1 reboots every 10-20 minutes while charging. CTOnews.com has learned that some others have reported that the issue persists even on iOS 16.0.2 or iOS 16.1 Beta.

"This only happens when the battery is 90-95% charged (especially 93%) and the phone is idle," one user said.（...）So far, the only thing that can be done (no reboot for two nights so far) is to disable background app refresh. "

For those experiencing this issue, the best option is to return their iPhone within 14 days and buy another one, or request a replacement at a local Apple Store.
