BMW's digital keys for Huawei, Glory, Xiaomi, vivo and OPPO are based on NFC technology, which is simple and convenient to operate. Users can unlock the vehicle with one key by simply placing the top of the phone close to the sensing area on the handle of the driver's side door. After the activation of the digital key is completed, there is no need to connect the door and start the vehicle, and the function of the digital key is not affected in the low battery mode of the mobile phone. In addition, BMW ensures the security of BMW vehicles and user data by introducing security chips in the car and mobile phones, combining hardware security and software encryption algorithms.

UWB technology is a short-range, high-bandwidth digital radio technology, its positioning accuracy can be 1-2 cm, and has a very high security. With UWB digital keys, users can enter the car without taking out their mobile phones, while bringing a more ceremonial identity experience. At a distance of 3 meters from the vehicle, the vehicle starts to wake up, soft lights are lit in the headlights, tail lights and passenger compartment, and a welcome light blanket is lit. Within 1.5 meters, the vehicle will unlock and turn on the exterior mirrors. The driver opens the door, the vehicle activates the seat and heating functions, the curved display plays a welcome animation, and the vehicle system loads the driver's personal settings. It is worth mentioning that in the low battery mode, the digital key can be switched to NFC mode to ensure that the user smoothly enters the car.
