According to South Korean media reports, of the large-size OLED panels planned to be produced by LG next year, 5.4 million will be produced in the factory in Guangzhou and the remaining 3.8 million in the factory in Paju, South Korea.

If LG's news that it plans to produce 9.2 million large-sized OLED panels next year is true, it means that production will continue to increase compared with the same period last year, an increase of 1.4 million pieces from this year's planned shipping target of 7.8 million units.

It is worth noting that South Korean media also mentioned in the report that LG clearly plans to produce 9.2 million large-size OLED panels, excluding the parts that may be supplied to Samsung.

It has been reported that Samsung's OLED TV plans to use quantum dot OLED panels produced by Samsung display, but due to limited production capacity, they may purchase large-size OLED panels to LG. The two companies have also conducted negotiations. LG shows that they hope to supply Samsung with 2 million pieces this year, but negotiations between the two sides have stopped in May this year. LG shows that the target of shipping 7.8 million large-size OLED panels this year may also be difficult to achieve.
