CTOnews.com September 27, according to E Ink Yuantai Technology official news, today (27), E Ink Yuantai Technology and display field leader Sharp display Technology Co., Ltd. (Sharp Display Technology Corporation, referred to as SDTC) announced a partnership.

CTOnews.com learned that E Ink will use Sharp display Technology's IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide, indium gallium zinc oxide) backplane to make e-paper modules for e-book readers and e-paper notebooks.

E-Ink and Sharp display Technology SDTC have joined hands to bring e-paper displays that have been working together for two years to market, officials said. Yuantai Technology is committed to the development of Oxide TFT oxide thin film transistor (Oxide Thin Film Transistors) used in electrophoretic electronic paper technology for more than a decade. Yuantai Technology will continue to expand its application in various electronic paper products with Oxide TFT technology.

The new generation of electronic paper display E Ink Gallery 3 will be on display at CEATEC 2022, while CEATEC 2022 will be held from October 18 (2) to 21 (Friday) at the Meibang Exhibition Hall, Chiba City, Chiba, Japan.
