The lunar probe was originally scheduled to be launched using an H2A rocket in 2021, but the SLIM lunar probe was delayed until this year due to delays in the development of other satellites carried by the rocket, and now the launch plan has been postponed again.

CTOnews.com learned that the core of Japan's lunar exploration is to launch a "SLIM" probe that can land accurately on the moon, which can limit the error range of lunar landing to less than 100m. Based on the experience of this lunar landing, Japan and India will jointly launch a new lunar probe in 2023.
