In the naming of digital products, those suffixed with the letter "X" often represent the top and extreme, and ULED X is no exception. According to official sources, the "X" in "ULED X" represents reference-level picture quality technology, reference-level picture quality benchmarking products, and picture quality standards based on user experience. It is reported that based on the research on the real lighting environment of tens of thousands of home users, Hisense has been comprehensively upgraded from the three dimensions of backlight, screen and chip algorithm to provide users with the best display effect of the reference image.

The protagonist of this article, Hisense TV E8H, is a flagship TV product targeted at "ULED X reference image". Compared with ordinary Mini LED TV, Hisense TV E8H has reached 500+Mini zone, and the light control area of single area is only 60% of that of ordinary Mini LED TV.

In terms of light source scheduling, Hisense has designed a new 1N1 distributed driver chip architecture, which uses Xin core U + super picture quality chips to cooperate with nearly 20 distributed light control chips to improve light control response speed by 10 times and light control fineness by 40%. As shown in the above picture, after measurement, Hisense TV E8H reached 95% DCI-P3 (approximate value). Considering the test error, this result is very close to the official figure, which shows that the color display of this screen is very excellent.

In addition, after measurement, the average △ E of Hisense TV E8H is only 0.81, which completely reaches the color accuracy level of professional display, and the screen color restoration is quite accurate.

It is worth mentioning that Hisense TV E8H also supports AI Color color space self-adaptation, opening DCI-P3, BT.709, BT.2020 and other color space, by setting-image-video signal-color space, can adjust the color space according to their own needs.

Of course, this is not to say that this screen can absorb all the light. As shown in the following picture, in some complex light environment, some very bright light directly on the screen will still leave a "mark" on the screen, but the screen will do a fog treatment to reduce the glare effect.
