September 26 news, the global ASIC designer Shixin Electronics announced the second quarter of 2022 results. Revenue in the second quarter hit an all-time high. Cumulative revenue in the first half of 2022 reached an all-time high of $194.6 million and after-tax net profit reached a record $30.5 million.

In terms of revenue, revenue continued to rise to $101.1 million in the second quarter of 2022, up 8.2% from $93.5 million in the previous quarter and 3.9% from $97.4 million in the same period last year. In terms of net profit, net profit after tax exceeded $14.5 million in the second quarter of 2022, down 9.5 per cent from $16 million in the previous quarter and 4.3 per cent from $13.9 million in the same period last year. In terms of operating profit, operating profit was $19.3 million in the second quarter of 2022, down slightly from $19.6 million in the previous quarter and up 10.7 per cent from $17.5 million in the same period last year. Earnings per share in the second quarter of 2022 were NT $6.0.

Revenue in the second quarter of this year was slightly lower than expected due to a shortage of ABF substrates. However, even under the condition that the fundamentals of the economic environment are slowing down, the design demand related to advanced processes and high-speed computing continues to be strong and shows no sign of weakening.
