The 5G message Development report (2022) released by China Institute of Information and Communication shows that the three major operators have built a total of 10 5G message regional nodes, which can carry 100 million on-line users.

After two years of development, the three major telecom operators have completed the construction of 5G message service system. Among them, China Mobile built a total of 8 5G messaging regional nodes throughout the country, which can carry 80 million on-line users; China Telecom and China Unicom initially built two 5G messaging regional nodes each, with a subscriber capacity of 10 million respectively.

In addition, with the construction of 5G message system, in order to better realize the commercial promotion and customer management of 5G industry news, the provincial branches of the three major operating enterprises have successively carried out the construction of 5G message platform and other operation and management platforms. It is reported that by the end of May 2022, China Mobile has launched the construction of CSP platform in 18 provinces / autonomous regions / municipalities directly under the Central Government. China Telecom and China Unicom currently adopt a network-wide intensive operation strategy to build a national unified CSP platform for provincial companies to use.

At present, the 5G message services of the three major operators have entered the trial commercial stage and commercial stage respectively.

By the end of May 2022, China Telecom currently has 350 million 5G messages sent (including drop messages) and has been connected to more than 100 CSP. It is planned that by the end of 2022, the annual number of 5G messages sent (including drop messages) will reach 1.2 billion, and the target number of CSP access will exceed 200.

At present, China Mobile has connected hundreds of CSP and opened more than 1000 Chatbot (conversation robots). The average monthly delivery of 5G messages is more than 1 billion (including fallback messages). It is expected that more than 2000 Chatbot will be launched by the end of 2022, and 1.5 billion 5G messages will be sent monthly (including fallback messages).

At present, China Unicom has sent nearly 200 million 5G messages (including drop messages), CSP access is close to 200, and opened more than 400. by the end of 2022, the annual transmission volume of 5G messages is expected to reach 1.2 billion (including drop messages), with the development of more than 1000 Chatbot.
