CTOnews.com Sept. 26, whistleblower @ Adrien Perea tweeted that R Star's new Grand Theft Auto work "GTA6" will be released in 2025, and he said he will attend a conference on "GTA6" in October, when the game release date and other related content may be announced.

CTOnews.com learned that recently Adrien Perea accurately revealed the relevant information about "Cyberpunk 2077" version 1.6, and a number of industry leaders, such as TGA host Geoff Keighley, also followed him.

R Star said it had recently suffered a cyber breach in which hackers illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information, including early development videos of the next generation of "GTA" games. In response, R Star said it does not expect the incident to cause any disruption to its online gaming services or have a long-term impact on its ongoing projects.

Game analyst Michael Pachter previously said that the development of "GTA6" from 2014 to 2015, the game is very large, originally scheduled for release in the second half of 2024.

In other words, although "GTA6" was leaked, it was too late for R Star to do it again. However, it seems to be a little late than the previous exposure in 2024, which means that R Star is trying to fix it.

It is worth mentioning that Grand Theft Auto V was released in 2013, while Grand Theft Auto IV was released in 2008. If "GTA6" is really scheduled to go on sale in 2025, "GTA5" may have a life span of 12 years.

It is said that the game has a parkour mechanism inspired by Unity, a plot inspired by the story of the Prince of Persia, and a camp similar to "the Wild Dart 2" and "Assassin's Creed: the Hall of Souls", where players can rest and train.

It was also revealed that it was initially an extension of the Assassin's Creed: the Hall of Souls, but Ubisoft eventually decided to split it into separate games to strengthen its Assassin's Creed lineup.

The revelations show that this work, code-named Rift, will feature Basim Ibn Ishaq as the protagonist and will be smaller and more covert than the latest version of the series. It is said that Basim is actually the reincarnation of the Nordic god Jiloki, and he actually belongs to an ancient and highly advanced humanoid species, "Issyrian".
