CTOnews.com, September 26 (Xinhua)-- Apple expects to release 2022 new iPad Pro, Mac mini and MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch models in October. In the latest Power On newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman details Apple's new hardware products to be released in 2023.

"next year's new products will be full for Apple, including the MacBook Air 15-inch, new M3 iMac, Mac Pro, updated HomePod speakers, Reality Pro headsets and larger iPad," Mark Gurman said. "the company's combination of Apple TV, HomePod and FaceTime camera devices are also likely to make their debut by the end of the year."

Three new Mac products Apple will launch at least three 15-inch Mac:MacBook Air models, a new M3 iMac and an upcoming Mac Pro next year, according to 9to5Mac.

The MacBook Air 15 inch was first revealed by DSCC analyst Ross Young. According to reports, Apple plans to launch a new version of the MacBook Air in 2023, with a screen size of about 15 inches. Apple also plans to increase the current MacBook Air's 13.3-inch display to "slightly larger" but still between 13 and 14 inches.

Bloomberg Mark Gurman said Apple has skipped M2 iMac and focused on the new M3 iMac. It is not clear whether there will be any design changes or just some hardware upgrades.

For Mac Pro, Apple said at the beginning of the year that it was developing new high-end Mac devices, but had not received any other news from the company.

Updated HomePod is also in development. Gurman reported a new HomePod smart speaker in June. The new speaker, codenamed B620, will run the same Apple Watch Series 8 chip, the S8 processor, at the same speed as the Series 6 chip. Compared with the A8 chip on the original HomePod, it is not clear how its performance is different.

CTOnews.com learned that the HomePod mini is equipped with a S5 chip. The S6 processor is about 20% faster than the previous generation. Earlier, Mark Gurman said:

After years of waiting, Apple is likely to launch its hybrid reality device next year. In a paper by DSCC, analysts believe that Apple's hybrid reality head will use an "innovative three-screen configuration", including two miniature OLED 4K displays and another AMOLED screen for low-resolution peripheral vision. According to rumors, this head display will be equipped with Mac-grade chips, and the price is very expensive.

Larger iPad and a combination of Apple TV and HomePod will also be upgraded. Gurman believes that a larger iPad is under development. It could be 14 inches. About a year ago, it was reported that Apple was exploring the design of an iPad with a larger screen in the future, saying that such a product would "take a few more years." then in June, DSCC analyst Ross Young confirmed that timetable and provided more details.

Ross Young once said it was iPad Pro 14.1 inches, but later changed it to be iPad 14 inches, without Mini-LED display and ProMotion refresh rate.

For Apple TV + HomePod + FaceTime devices, Gurman has talked about this product. It could be a competitor to Amazon's Echo Show.
