CTOnews.com, September 25 (Xinhua)-- Apple may decide to release its remaining 2022 products through press releases on its website rather than digital events, including updated iPad Pro, Mac mini and MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch products, according to Bloomberg Mark Gurman.

Gurman said in his latest Power On newsletter that Apple is now "likely to release its remaining 2022 products through press releases, website updates and briefings with some media members" rather than through digital events. Rumor has it that Apple plans to hold a second autumn event in October, focusing on Mac and iPad, but that may not be the case anymore.

For the rest of 2022, Apple will launch three products: the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro with M2 chip, the updated Mac mini with M2 chip and the unreleased M2 Pro chip, and the newer 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro.

CTOnews.com learned that in early June this year, Apple announced a redesigned M2 chip version of the MacBook Air and a 13-inch MacBook Pro on WWDC22. In addition to the new chips, Mac and iPad updates will be relatively incremental upgrades, with no major design changes being rumored. Apple has released products in the past through press releases, such as iPhone SE 2, AirPods Max and AirPods Pro.
